About Buderus

The German Buderus Company was founded by Mr. Johann Wilhelm Buderus in 1731. Until today, Buderus has become one of the leading enterprises in the field of heating technology. The patent for cast iron boilers of Buderus Heiztechnik GmbH was registered in 1898 soon. Until now, along with over 5,000,000 sets of cast iron boilers have been sold out, and Buderus has become to the largest manufacturer of cast iron boilers in the world.
At present, there are over 6,000 employees all over the world are working for Buderus with headquarter in Wetzlar of Germany. Buderus owns branches in 18 countries and distributors in over 25 countries all over the world. Buderus is manufacturing various series of cast iron boilers, steel boilers, wall-hung boilers and controller, radiator, storage tanks, solar equipments, combined heat & power plant and related spare parts. Besides, Buderus also supplies steam boilers and combined heat & power plants. Not only as a boilers supplier, but as a supplier for solutions of integrated heating systems, this is exactly the point which Buderus is proud of.
September 2003, Buderus was merged into Robert Bosch Group. (The Robert Bosch Group with headquarter located in Stuttgart of Germany, achieved an annual sales turnover of Euro 36.4 billion in 2003, its business was extended to over 50 countries and areas and the total employees are more than 230,000.) August 2004, Buderus Heiztechnik GmbH was incorporated with the Thermotechnik Division under Robert Bosch Group and was renamed as BBT Thermotechnik GmbH which has become the largest supplier for fuel gas heating products all over the world.

Buderus in China

Tianjin Buderus Heating Technology Co., Ltd. was founded on Feb. 15, 2000, its headquarter is located in Tianjin Economic and Technical Development Zone. The company set up its representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai, and Xi'an. As a wholly-owned subsidiary in China of BBT Thermotechnik GmbH, its main tenet is to provide excellent service and powerful support to the rapidly developing Chinese market.
